Remarkable satin-finish Aluminium elements make the xLine exterior equipment package really stand out. They add a distinctive look to the underbody protection in the front and rear, as well as design elements in the right and left air inlets. The side sills, BMW kidney grille, tailpipes and window frames are also in satin-finish Aluminium. In contrast, the B-pillars and C-pillars are in high-gloss Black. The 18" light alloy wheels in Y-spoke style 607 and the 19" light alloy wheels in Y-spoke style 608 with mixed tyres are exclusively available for the xLine.

The xLine equipment package charms drivers with its modern elegance. Upon opening the doors, passengers are greeted with door sill finishers featuring the "BMW xLine" logo. The cloth/leather seat upholstery Carve in Amber/black with contrast stitching in Active Red promises high comfort in the interior.
Black Nevada leather with grey contrast stitching, Mocha Nevada leather with Active Red contrast stitching or Ivory White Nevada leather with contrast stitching in Sport Red (Nevada leather headrests each have appliqué and imprint) or Nevada leather in beige, Saddle Brown or Oyster are available. The interior trim is in elegant high-gloss Dark Copper. Stainless steel trim on the loading sill rounds off the xLine equipment.

The M Sport package for the exterior includes the M Aerodynamics package with front and rear bumpers in the body colour and the diffuser insert in Dark Shadow metallic. The sill covers, wheel arch trim and door trim are in the body colour. The sporty appearance is rounded off by the Individual Shadow Line with trim strips, side frames, window recess finishers, mirror triangle and exterior mirror frame in high-gloss Black. The characteristic "M" logo on the sides and the tailpipe in high-gloss chrome finish off the look. Exclusive in the M Sport package: 18" light alloy wheels in Star-spoke style 368 M; 19" M light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 622M with mixed tyres or 20" M light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 310M with mixed tyres. The paint finish in Carbon Black metallic is exclusively available with the M Sport package. Other available paint finishes are Alpine White matt, Sapphire Black metallic, Glacier Silver metallic, Melbourne Red metallic and Sophisto Grey metallic.

The M Sport package brings a sporty, exclusive ambience to the interior. Sport seats for driver and passenger in cloth/leather upholstery Pearlpoint Anthracite offer perfect lateral support and great comfort. They're also available in black Nevada leather, Savannah Beige, Oyster and Saddle Brown, as well as Mocha and Ivory White with appliqué and imprint. Thanks to the M leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons many different functions are within close reach. The sporty-dynamic appearance is apparent in the whole car, from the BMW Individual headliner in Anthracite and the M door sills, to the interior trim in Fine Brushed Aluminium. The car key with blue detailing rounds off the exclusive design.

Alternatively available are fine-wood trim light or Anthracite Fineline, each with accent line in Pearl-Gloss Chrome or fine-wood trim in Burled Walnut with accent line in Pearl-Gloss Chrome.

The forged 21" BMW M Performance light alloy wheels Double-spoke 599M impress with their Bicolour look in matt Black and burnished surfaces. They also bear the four-colour M logo. The complete wheel set has run-flat mixed tyres.

Individualise your BMW X4 further with the 20" light alloy wheels Y-spoke 542 with run-flat tyres. The perfectly colour-coordinated Bicolour look is particularly eye-catching.

Compatible tablets can be docked quickly and easily in the base of the Travel & Comfort system using the holder and removed again at the touch of a button. Adjustable positioning allows rear passengers to read in comfort, relax with video entertainment or communicate online (e.g. in conjunction with BMW Car Hotspot). Thanks to an integrated support on the back, the holder can also be set up outside the vehicle.

Specially developed by BMW, this secure smartphone holder for the can be integrated seamlessly into the interior of your BMW. It can be easily attached to the windscreen and is available for use immediately, either horizontally or vertically. The complete solution contains everything you require to attach and charge your smartphone inside your vehicle.

If you don’t want to use the in-car 12-volt power outlet, a separately available installation set enables mounting without any visible cables.

This tablet DVD system comprises of two portable seven-inch monitors and two holders which can be attached to the headrest posts. The DVD system can be easily connected to the vehicle’s 12-volt power outlet. The DVD player, which is integrated in one of the monitors, plays DVDs as well as photo and audio CDs (including MP3 format). In addition, JPEG images and music files can be played from USB sticks and memory cards.

Audio playback comes either from the monitor’s built-in speakers or, for example, from the infrared stereo headphones from BMW. They are specially tailored to BMW DVD systems and offer individual volume adjustment, outstanding sound and excellent carrying comfort.
